On Friday the 10th of June, Phonour together with Bassline Festival 2011 presents a night of electronic funk at mbar - Morphology LIVE!From the Facebook-group of Morphology:
‘Morphology’, a new collaboration from Finland consisting of Michael Diekmann who records under the alias CRC and Matti Turunen otherwise known as Näköradiomies. Morphology fuses early electro sounds with haunting melodies to create a deep blend of atmospheric future funk.
Morphology have released their debut album Urania's Mirror on Zyntax Motorcity and various 12" on different labels such as Abstract Forms, Semantica and diametric. They are extremely good live as can be seen from this clip from Kotimaan Teknokatsaus Pt. 2, an yearly event hosted by Samuli Kemppi which showcases Finnish techno and electro live artists.

We'll be playing LA modern funk, wonky beats and experimental electronic hiphop in the vein of Free The Robots, Dam Funk, Devonwho, B Bravo, Erik Lau and FS Green. A new mix coming online later this week, so stay tuned!

VastaaPoistaHei! Varsinaista tracklistia ei meidän keikoilta juuri koskaan tule, koska lähes poikkeuksetta meiniki on aika fiilispohjalta vedettyä. Se mitä soiteltiin, oli pitkälti samanlaista matskua kuin mitä on meidän "Too Cold For Palm Trees" ja "Sun, Synths & Slackness" miksauksissa, koska sellainen soundi tuntuu meille tällä hetkellä kovasti kolahtavan. Molemmat miksaukset löytyvät tästä blogista :)

Noi nyt tuli ainakin illan aikana soitetuista räpeistä mieleen. Pitkältihän se taisi kuitenkin instrumentaalimenoa olla. Kysele ihmeessä lisää, jos ei noista miksauksista ja linkeistä löydy sopivaa!
